Meet Your New Media Specialist!

Hello, Gators! Do I look like a familiar face? As many of you know, Mrs. Hunter retired this past year and the Media Center was in need of a new Media Specialist. Unlike the Grouchy Ladybug on my head, I am very excited about this coming year!

Most of you know me as a first grade teacher. I have taught first grade for the past 18 years, 16 of them in West Windsor-Plainsboro. I have been with Town Center since it opened in 2002, and taught at Village Elementary before that (back when Village was K-3!). As a longtime first grade teacher, I have a deep love of reading and books. Teaching in the library is a perfect fit!

I am also quite excited to bring some technology into Media class. I have a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Technology and am working on a second in Educational Technology. I've got some great projects in mind for my Gators!

I'm also truly looking forward to meeting our newest Gator Tots in the preschool classes that are coming to Town Center! Preschoolers will have Media class once a week (like the big kids!) and will borrow a book each week as well. Wait until you see the new library space that we are creating for you!
